Unsung Champions in The UK Black Community
Community Awards for African British role models – Journalism
At the end of my work as the Managing Editor of The FCTP Newspaper during a general Google search of my name I found a link to my name on the Ligali.org website referring to Community Awards. To my surprise I was spoken of as one of “the true unsung champions of our community” working in the media on behalf of the UK’s Black Population. I was deeply humbled by the award and was most grateful to Allah, for putting it in the mind of the owner of Ligali to consider me as worthy for such a commendation.
Thank you to Ligali.
